Reaching Our World
New Life Family Church is active in supporting missionaries and sending servants from our own body into the mission field. Please take time to familiarize yourself with their projects & remember them in prayer. Please pray about how you can support missions with NLFC in the future! Larry and Jean have been in full-time ministry since 1991 after attending VWMTC in Tulsa, OK, USA. They first began ministry helping to make videos of Bible stories using real people from the “home” nation. Through this endeavor, Pastor Larry traveled to India and Russia. Then in 1993, they answered the call of Pastor Billy Joe Daughtery to minister in Albania serving as missionary pastors and directors of Victory Christian Center, Tirane, Albania. It was a great time of serving the Lord through the planting of churches, raising up Bible school students for the work of the ministry (some of which are still serving today), and facilitating many children’s works.
In 1996, God called them from Albania to China (PRC) where they ministered through various humanitarian platforms. During the next 8 1/2 years, a school house for 400-600 students was built in Shandong province, Geriatric training and seminars were given to thousands of students, leaders, and nursing home directors, AIDS training was held for migrant workers and their leaders, projects to improve education and life for orphans and children in remote areas. Their staff in China also helped significantly two different times with the earthquake victims in Sichuan province. The work there is ongoing through Heidi and Guo Yi Sheng, Directors Beijing.
2004 saw a major move to Canada where they continue with multiple outreaches and Bible fellowships. Several teams from Canada have helped with the work in China, Vietnam, and Liberia, Africa.
Liberia, Africa has become a major focus with multiple endeavors aimed at taking the Gospel from the home base in Caldwell throughout Africa and the world by Africans.
Larry & Jean have 3 grown children & 2 grandkids, all residing in the USA with their families.
